In 2018, Troop 35's Eagle Nest welcomed its 50th Eagle Scout to its ranks. Over the 52 years that Troop 35 has been active, 50 Scouts have reached the highest attainable rank in Boy Scouts. The title of Eagle Scout is held for life, thus giving rise to the phrase "Once an Eagle, always an Eagle".
The young men listed below served their Troop and Community while in the Troop and have gone on to contribute to society in many ways as leaders after Scouting.
Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges and demonstrating Scout Spirit through the Boy Scout Oath and Law, community service, and leadership. An extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages is the culmination of the Scouts hard work and dedication . Eagle Scouts are presented with a medal and a badge that visibly recognizes the accomplishments of the Scout. Additional recognition can be earned through Eagle Palms, awarded for completing additional tenure, leadership, and merit badge requirements.
